Some things never change

Thomas A. Edison once said: "Be courageous. I have seen many depressions in business. Always America has emerged from these stronger and more prosperous. Be brave as your fathers before you. Have faith! Go forward!"
Nowadays, it seems the world is going to come to an end more often than predicted in the past. Last August, during the debt crisis debate in Congress, Armageddon was around the corner. Of course, the problem was not really fixed; instead, Congress merely kicked the can down the road with the "super committee" that was supposed to "fix everything." Since that didn't happen, there may be an apocalypse awaiting.
